S-log operates under the Kleinunternehmerregelung (§19 UStG). No VAT is charged; prices are shown without VAT and no VAT will appear on invoices.

II. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through this website. By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms in full. The version in effect at the time of purchase is binding.

III. Products
Every piece offered by S-log is either made to order or a unique, one-of-a-kind work. Nothing is mass-produced or held in general stock. Each object is handmade and may display natural variations in form, dimension, surface, and colour — these are intrinsic to the nature of the work and are not defects.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all available product information, images, and descriptions before ordering. For any questions prior to purchase, please write to  sonya.log.site@gmail.com.

IV. Contract Formation
Product listings on this website are an invitation to purchase, not a binding offer. A contract is concluded when S-log sends a written order confirmation to the customer's email address. An automated receipt acknowledgement alone does not constitute acceptance.
S-log reserves the right to decline any order — for example in cases of pricing errors or unforeseen inability to fulfil. Any payment already made will be refunded promptly in such cases.

V. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in euros, without VAT (Kleinunternehmen, §19 UStG). Shipping costs are calculated separately and displayed at checkout.
Payment is accepted via PayPal and Stripe (credit/debit card).
For commissioned and made-to-order work, a deposit is required before production begins. The deposit is either 50% of the total order value or the full cost of materials, whichever is more appropriate to the specific piece — this will be agreed in writing with each customer before work begins. The remaining balance is due prior to dispatch.

VI. Made-to-Order & Commissions
As all work is produced specifically for each customer, S-log works closely with buyers throughout the process. Production timelines vary by piece and are communicated individually at the time of order confirmation.
S-log is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, or circumstances beyond its control (see Section X, Force Majeure).

VII. Right of Withdrawal — Exclusion
In accordance with §312g (2) No. 1 BGB, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured according to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal requirements.
Since every piece produced by S-log is either made to order or a unique work, the right of withdrawal is excluded for all purchases. Customers are strongly encouraged to ask questions and discuss any concerns before placing an order. S-log is happy to provide additional images, dimensions, or any other information needed to support an informed decision.
In exceptional circumstances (e.g. a significant deviation from what was agreed), S-log will handle the matter fairly and on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out directly at  sonya.log.site@gmail.com.

VIII. Shipping & Delivery
S-log ships worldwide from Berlin, Germany. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and are non-refundable.
The estimated dispatch timeframe for each piece is stated individually on the respective product page or communicated in the order confirmation. S-log is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or any other circumstances outside of its control once the parcel has been handed over to the carrier.
Each shipment includes a tracking number. Risk passes to the customer upon handover to the shipping carrier. For consumers, risk passes upon physical receipt of the goods.
For deliveries outside the EU, the customer is solely responsible for all applicable import duties, customs fees, and local taxes. S-log cannot be held liable for goods held, delayed, or refused at customs.

IX. Retention of Title
All goods remain the property of S-log until full payment has been received.

X. Force Majeure
S-log is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, war, or disruptions to transport infrastructure. In such cases, S-log will communicate with the customer promptly and work towards a resolution.

XI. Warranty
Statutory warranty rights apply in accordance with German law. In the case of a genuine material defect, the customer may request repair or replacement. If this fails, a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract may be sought.
Natural variations, surface characteristics, and material properties inherent to handmade and unique objects are explicitly excluded from warranty claims.
For business customers, obvious defects must be reported in writing within 10 days of receipt.

XII. Liability
S-log's liability for damages caused by injury to life, body, or health, or by intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty, remains unaffected as required by mandatory German law. Any liability beyond this is excluded to the fullest extent permitted.

XIII. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including texts, photographs, and images of works — is the intellectual property of Sofya Evgrafova / S-log and is protected by copyright. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

XIV. Data Protection
The handling of personal data is governed by S-log's Privacy Policy, available as a separate page on this website. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read and understood the Privacy Policy.

XV. Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides an online platform for out-of-court dispute resolution, accessible at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. S-log is neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

XVI. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. For consumers, this applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of protection under mandatory consumer law in their country of residence. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
For disputes with business customers, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
